Sarah King launched her first jewellery collection in 1992 selling through Barneys New York, Liberty, Conran Shop, Ally Cappellino and ec one.  She has always experimented with different materials and technologies, and since 2000 she has been working with Bioresin. This a new eco plastic made from plant cellulose.

In 2003 she had a solo exhibition at Arai Atelier Gallery, Tokyo ‘Light Constructions’ which marked the beginning of a new body of work exploring spatial hollow forms. Alongside the hollow resin pieces she has recently been using laser welding to make an 18ct gold collection. These also allow for volume whilst being almost weightless.

In 2005 she won the Association of Contemporary Jewellery prize, she exhibits widely  and is included in many public collections and books on contemporary jewellery. Her work is available through a few select galleries, she works to commission and teaches through her studio at Cockpit Arts.
