CLASSES BY SARAH KING AT COCKPIT ARTS
Sarah King teaches classes at Cockpit Arts in the use of wood and bioresin in jewellery.
BIORESIN JEWELLERY CLASS
In the Bioresin class you will:

  • learn what types of designs are suitable for cast resin
  • carve a master in wax
  • make a simple rubber mould
  • make multiple castings in bioresin
  • complete resin jewellery with silver detail and fastenings (this class does not cover soldering)
  • receive printouts with step-by-step instructions and suppliers lists

There are no classes scheduled at the moment but do contact sarah@sarah-king.co.uk to be added to the mailing list.
Alternatively one-to-one tuition is available in Sarah's studio for £300 per day. Please allow 2 days, 1 full day and 2 half -days to allow for setting times.
     

  WOOD JEWELLERY CLASS
In this class you will learn how to adapt simple jewellery tools to work in wood and inlay with silver and pearls. One to one classes are available for £300 per day, at Cockpit Arts. One day is sufficient to cover basic techniques but 2 days will allow for some guided practice. Previous jewellery experience not necessary and tuition will be in Sarah’s studio at Cockpit Arts, Holborn.

Weekend 24/25 July 2010, 10.30 - 4.30 in Education room of Cockpit Arts, Cockpit Yard, Northington Street, London WC1N 2NP.
£250 inc. materials.

  • A full refund can only be given if cancellation is made in writing 4 weeks before the start of the course.
  • Late cancellations will not be given a refund but will be offered a place on the next available course
  • If for any reason the class cannot run you will be fully reimbursed or offered alternative dates
  • On receipt of payment you will be receive confirmation and guidance of anything you might need to bring with you and directions
